Quoting RPTH Journal‘s post:
“Iron deficiency often accompanies mild to moderate bleeding.
This article reports that 1/3 of patients had iron deficiency, but anemia is rare. Results suggest that iron status should be evaluated in patients with bleeding disorders.”
