The November Issue of The Lancet Haematology is Out!
Marian Femenias, Illustrator and Artist, shared on LinkedIn:
”The November issue of The Lancet Haematology is out!
This month’s illustration is inspired by the Viewpoint article “Sustainable anticoagulation for climate-resilient care”, which calls for a multidisciplinary approach to integrate sustainability into anticoagulation practice—aligning clinical excellence with environmental responsibility.
The artwork features a doctor looking toward a green turbine in search of solutions for more sustainable care.
In his hand, the spinning turbine disperses a broken blood clot, symbolising the balance between innovation, health, and climate action.
As always, special thanks to Cheryl Lai, Daniela Marín-Hernández, Emma Cookson , Lan-Lan Smith for the trust with this one!”
