Dr. Laura Girardi Awarded 2025 Thrombosis Canada – CanVECTOR Research Fellowship
“We’re pleased to announce that the recipient of this year’s Thrombosis Canada – CanVECTOR Research Fellowship is Dr Laura Girardi who will be working with guidance from Dr Aurelien Delluc at the Ottawa Hospital. This $50,000 award will support her research project: Cancer-associated venous clots: when ‘less’ could be ‘more’? Management of small clots in the lungs unintentionally detected in patients with cancer. Congratulations Dr Girardi! ”
Dr. Laura Girardi has been awarded the 2025 Thrombosis Canada–CanVECTOR Research Fellowship for her impactful work on cancer-associated venous clots.
