“Today, ASH President Dr. Avalos and President-Elect Dr. Negrin are on Capitol Hill, urging Congress to uphold its bipartisan commitment to biomedical research and patient care by protecting NIH funding and Medicaid access.”
ASH reported that its President, Dr. Avalos, and President-Elect, Dr. Negrin, visited Capitol Hill to advocate for sustained support of biomedical research and patient care, calling on Congress to safeguard funding for the NIH and ensure continued access to Medicaid.
