Fernanda Orsi: ISTH Approach to Identifying and Managing Conflicts of Interest
Fernanda Orsi, Associate Professor at Faculty of Medical Sciences, Unicamp, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis:
“The ISTH COI Disclosure Policy provides key resources to help members recognize, prevent, and appropriately manage COIs.
In this editorial, the ISTH Ethics Committee illustrates the nature of COI considerations and the possible application and consequences of each measure using a hypothetical case.
It is worth reading, as the article provides an accessible discussion of how COIs can affect members’ relationships with the ISTH.”
