Mariasanta Napolitano: A Delphi-Based Consensus on Integrated Monitoring in Haemophilia Care
Mariasanta Napolitano, Associate Professor of Hematology at the University of Palermo, shared on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, adding:
”I am pleased to share the publication of our new paper Integrating Clinical, Functional, and Patient-Reported Outcomes in Haemophilia Care: A Delphi-Based Consensus on a New Monitoring Tool.
This work reflects a principle that I consider increasingly important in everyday haemophilia care: in a rapidly evolving treatment landscape, we need monitoring tools that go beyond single clinical parameters and help us integrate bleeding outcomes, joint health, treatment adherence, pharmacokinetics, and patient-reported quality of life into a more comprehensive and meaningful assessment.
I truly believe that better diagnostic and monitoring strategies are essential to support more personalized, consistent, and forward-looking therapeutic decisions.
Grateful to all co-authors for this valuable collaboration.”
