Mohammad Ameen Ishqair: Blood Group Antigens as Emerging Biomarkers in Disease
Mohammad Ameen Ishqair, General and Emergency Physician at Al Madina Medical Center, shared on LinkedIn:
“I am honored to share that our research chapter, ‘Blood Group Antigens as Disease Markers: Infectious, Autoimmune and Neoplastic Associations’, has just been published Open Access with IntechOpen.
This work, co-authored with my exceptional research group: Dr. Aliaa Khalili, Dr. Amal Abo-Jheasha, and Dr. Anas Ameen, explores how blood group antigens extend beyond transfusion medicine to serve as critical biomarkers in infectious, autoimmune, and neoplastic diseases.
We integrate genomic data, molecular mechanisms, and epidemiological insights to provide a comprehensive paradigm for clinicians and researchers.
Read the full chapter on IntechOpen.”
