Thomas Reiberger: Trends in Variceal Bleeding Outcomes Over Two Decades
Thomas Reiberger, Professor of Hepatology at the Medical University of Vienna shared on X:
” Liver Portal Hypertension.
A recent study from the Medical University of Vienna investigated patients with cirrhosis and variceal bleeding over two decades.
The results showed decreasing rebleeding rates and lower bleeding-related mortality in the more recent decade.
