Yolanda Castillo Escario on Evaluation of Sleep Apnea in Stroke Patients
Yolanda Castillo Escario, Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), shared on LinkedIn:
”I’m thrilled to share that my latest research article “Evaluation of Sleep Apnea in Stroke Patients using a Portable Smartphone-based System” (Yolanda Castillo Escario, Sergiu Albu, Hatice Kumru, Raimon Jané) has been published in the IEEE Transactions on Neural Systems and Rehabilitation Engineering!
In this work, we show how a smartphone-based tool can help detect sleep apnea in stroke patients, offering a more accessible and user-friendly solution for this population, who often struggle to undergo conventional sleep studies.
Grateful to my amazing co-authors and collaborators for making this possible!
