Our study highlights how donor characteristics such as weight, BMI, and platelet count significantly influence platelet yield and post-transfusion response, which is vital for optimizing patient care.

This experience reinforces the importance of evidence-based donor selection in strengthening transfusion practice and improving outcomes for patients with hematological malignancies.”
