Michael Makris, Emeritus Professor of Haemostasis and Thrombosis at the University of Sheffield, shared on LinkedIn:
”The UK has introduced a national self-assessment questionnaire about venous thrombosis risk in pregnancy.
High risk women should receive thromboprophylaxis within 72 hours and this is before their first antenatal appointment.”
