WFH, FAHEM and Hemophilia of Georgia Expand Bleeding Disorder Care in the Dominican Republic
World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) shared on LinkedIn:
”In the Dominican Republic, the WFH recently completed a country visit with Foundation for Hemophilia Support (FAHEM), together with Hemophilia of Georgia, focused on expanding access to care and strengthening national planning.
The visit advanced WFH PACT Program planning, supported a needs assessment for a future national plan, and laid the groundwork for a new FAHEM chapter in the Cibao region in the north of the country.
This work will help guide efforts over the next five years, support the development of a national program, and help reduce gaps in access to care between children and adults, contributing to improved care and stronger support for people with Bleeding Disorders”
