Apply Now to The Susan Skinner Memorial Fund Scholarship: Advancing Women’s Leadership in the Bleeding Disorders Field
The World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) recently shared an announcement post on X:
”Applications for The Susan Skinner Memorial Fund scholarship program is now open! The scholarship encourages the active participation of women of all ages in the global Bleeding Disorders community through education, training and networking.”

The Susan Skinner Memorial Fund scholarship supports the leadership and active engagement of women aged 18 to 60 within the global bleeding disorders community.
Awarded every two years to both U.S. and international applicants, the scholarship provides opportunities for education, training, and networking at major WFH events.
This year’s recipients will attend the WFH 2026 World Congress in Kuala Lumpur, gaining invaluable experience and connections to advance advocacy and care in inherited bleeding disorders.
The project aims to enhance the treatment and care for women and girls with bleeding disorders (WGBD) across local, national, and global communities.
Applications are now open for this transformative program and will be accepted from July 15 to September 15, 2025.
