Riitta Lassila: How APAC Impacts the Interplay Between Complement and Coagulation
Riitta Lassila, Professor of Coagulation Medicine at University of Helsinki, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, adding:
“Our team has published about how the heparin proteoglycan mimic APAC impacts the interplay between complement system and coagulation.
The regulatory functions and cellular clearance of debris are supported – an anti-inflammatory effect aligning with the antithrombotic mechanisms of APAC (by Aplagon).”
