NBCA: From Marathon Dreams to ICU — Sam’s Blood Clot Wake-Up Call
The National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA) posted on X:
”At 25, while training for the TCS New York City Marathon, Sam thought he had a stomach bug, but it was multiple blood clots in his lungs. After 7 weeks in the ICU, Sam is focused on recovery and raising awareness that blood clots can happen to anyone. ”
