“I’m pleased to share our latest publication in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology:
‘Safety and Efficacy of Ticagrelor-Based Dual Antiplatelet Therapy in Endovascular Treatment of Unruptured Intracranial Aneurysms’
In this single-center retrospective study, we evaluated the outcomes of ticagrelor-based dual antiplatelet therapy in 153 patients undergoing stent-assisted endovascular treatment.
Our findings demonstrate:
- Low thromboembolic complication rates
- Acceptable hemorrhagic risk profile
- Consistent safety across different endovascular techniques, including flow diverters and stent-assisted coiling
These results support ticagrelor as a reliable alternative to clopidogrel, particularly in settings where variability in platelet response remains a concern.
