Bram Berkelmans: Donating with a View
Bram Berkelmans, Application Engineer at SolarDew Clean Water B.V., shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Donating with a View
New place, new blood bank. Recently I moved to Amsterdam to live together with my girlfriend. I started donating blood when I was a student in Wageningen.
From there, I moved to the Hague blood bank, and after the pandemic I started donating at the Utrecht ‘powerbank.’ I switched to donating plasma, which is just as important and is mainly used for medical research. Over the years, I have now donated about 55 times, but never with such a beautiful view while reading a book and contributing to humanity.
Have you considered donating blood?
- Blood donation takes about 30 minutes per visit
- Plasma donation takes about 45 minutes per visit
Sanquin location Anne Frankstraat, Amsterdam.”
