Martin Widschwendter: How Molecular Detection Tests Could Transform Endometrial Cancer Care
Martin Widschwendter, Director of The Daffodil Centre and European Translational Oncology Prevention and Screening Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, published in International Journal of Gynecological Cancer, adding:
“Thrilled to share that our perspective article is now published in the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer!
The paper examines the current clinical pathway for detection of endometrial cancer — and makes the case for how novel molecular detection tests could fundamentally transform how we triage women presenting with abnormal uterine or postmenopausal bleeding.
Transforming Endometrial Cancer Diagnosis: The Case for Molecular Triage in Abnormal Uterine and Postmenopausal Bleeding
This was a wonderful collaboration with a truly outstanding multi-national group of clinicians, scientists, and public health policy experts — a huge thank you to all co-authors.”
