Mauricio Bordonaba: Reflecting on ISTH 2026 and Our Commitment to a Truly Free Hemophilia Life

Mauricio Bordonaba, Non Malignant Hematology Global Commercialization Strategy Leader (CSL) at Roche, shared on LinkedIn:

”What an incredible and inspiring week at ISTH 2026 in Paris, France!

Participating in ISTH reminded me that our vision for the future of hemophilia goes far beyond developing the next scientific breakthrough.

It is about a lifelong commitment to the people we serve, aimed at a singular, transformative goal: ensuring that patients with Hemophilia A can live a truly free Hemophilia Life.

Achieving this requires an interconnected ecosystem.

We know we cannot do it alone.

It takes the collective strength of patients, healthcare professionals (HCPs), governments and industry working in unison to dismantle barriers, reshape care models, and accelerate access to life-changing innovations.

This dedication starts at the very top. I was incredibly proud to see our global leadership—including Teresa Harris Graham and Padraic Ward —on the ground in Paris, actively engaging, listening, and sharing in those vital hallway conversations with the community.

Alongside every single team member across Roche, we share an unwavering commitment to listen deeply, engage authentically, and act decisively upon the real-world needs of patients.

We aren’t just here for the clinical milestones.

We are committed to walking along the way, every step of the journey, alongside patients and their families.

Because a sustainable global care model isn’t built for the short term—it is built to last.

Here for Generations. Here for Life.”
