”PE Prevention Tip: Just had surgery or an injury? Take extra precautions in the heat.
Summer activities can tempt you to do too much too soon. But if you’re recovering from surgery, injury, or illness, you’re at higher risk for a PE. Follow your doctor’s guidance, avoid strenuous activity, and watch for warning signs like swelling or unexplained pain in the leg.
