Maria Espanol, Hematologist, Medical Director Sickle Cell Center of Southern Louisiana, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by she and her colleagues co-authored, published in Research and Practice in Thrombosis and Haemostasis, adding:
”Excited to share our recently published article in Research and Practice in Thrombosis and Haemostasis (RPTH) on venous thromboembolism (VTE) in children.
It was a pleasure to work on this publication with my colleague Dr.Maissaa Janbain.
VTE in children presents unique challenges, and we hope this work provides an accessible and practical resource to support clinicians in the recognition, diagnosis, and management of pediatric thrombosis.
Proud to continue contributing to the growing field of pediatric thrombosis through clinical care, education, and research.”
