“Coagulation can be complicated.
Your learning resources shouldn’t be.
One of the things I hear most often from students and new biomedical scientists is:
‘I understand the theory… but what do I actually do in the laboratory?’
That gap between knowing the coagulation cascade and confidently applying it in practice is real.
You can memorise the intrinsic, extrinsic and common pathways.
You can know what PT and APTT stand for.
But then you get an unexpected prolonged APTT, a mixing study, a factor assay request, or a sample that doesn’t quite make sense…
And suddenly, the textbook feels very far away.
That’s exactly why I created practical coagulation laboratory guides through Coag Simplified.
