Ahmet Davut Aksu: Plasminogen Supplementation Enhances Alteplase Efficacy in Systemic Embolization Model
Ahmet Davut Aksu, Researcher at University of Masarykova, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, published in Journal of Thrombosis and Thrombolysis, adding:
“Excited to share this milestone: our plasminogen paper is finally published!
I’m thrilled to share that our work has been published in the Journal of Thrombosis and Thrombolysis by Springer Nature!
This publication represents the core of my PhD thesis and marks a major milestone in my PhD journey, alongside my work on isolated heart research.
In this study, we demonstrate how plasminogen supplementation enhances alteplase efficacy and improves fibrinolysis rates, using our validated systemic embolization rat model.
This has been a long and rewarding journey, and I’m grateful to everyone who supported me along the way.
Excited to keep building on these findings!”
