Suthesh Sivapalaratnam: Advancing Bleeding Disorder Care at EHC 2026
Suthesh Sivapalaratnam, Clinical Senior Lecturer in Paediatric and Adult Haemostasis and Thrombosis at the Royal London Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Truly inspirational to hear the patient’s and carer’s voice at EHC – European Haemophilia Consortium last weekend in Istanbul, from Amy Owen-Wyard and others, and being able to present the latest on sutacimig in the context of prophylaxis for Glanzmann Thrombasthenia and factor VII deficiency.
The patient voices keep me motivated to work towards a safe and effective treatment for all women and men with bleeding disorders.
Thank you for all the support and hard work from Geetha Boyapati, Anam Hoque, Jo Morgan, Mays Jawad, Jenny Rivers, Jennifer Higgins, Simon Hindley, Panagiotis Christoforou, Priyanka Raheja enabling the delivery of these studies at Barts Health NHS Trust, and the team at Precision Healthcare University Research Institute (PHURI) at Queen Mary University of London, Blizard Institute.”
