“We call lifestyle the cornerstone of cardiovascular prevention.
But do we truly treat it as such?
Nutrition and physical activity are fundamental to cardiovascular health.
Yet translating scientific evidence into everyday clinical practice remains a major challenge.
Later today, at CA meet 2026 in Padua, I will have the pleasure of co-moderating a session on this very topic.
The real question is not lifestyle versus drugs, but why prevention is still treated as an afterthought.
Are we prescribing prevention, or merely recommending it?”
