Shayan Mohammadmoradi: Platelets as Stress Sensors A New Perspective on Platelet Biology
Shayan Mohammadmoradi, Vascular Biology and Platelet Function Scientist at University of Kentucky, CEO at Moradi Enterprise, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Thank you Fadi Khasawneh, the organizing committee, and the Texas A and M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy for a wonderful 20th Midwest Platelet Conference in Corpus Christi.
I presented a new project asking whether circulating platelets act as stress sensors, carrying an insult-specific fingerprint in their transcriptome.
Early data suggest they do. Honored to receive an Outstanding Abstract Award.
The mug says ‘Certified Platelet Genius.’
I’ll let the data make that call.
See you at Versiti in Milwaukee for the 21st MPC.”
