“Happy to be a part of the Government’s efforts towards strengthening the fight against anemia.
The roll-out of the revised Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan has commenced with training and orientation programmes for States and UTs and key stakeholders.
The revised strategy underscores the need to build systems with intent—shifting towards a screening-led, case-based and outcome-oriented approach, with emphasis on early detection, integrated Eat Right counselling, and digital tracking of cases till resolution.
Equally important is fostering a collective movement to challenge the normalisation of anemia and promote mindfulness, awareness and active ownership of one’s health-because the journey towards an anemia-mukt Bharat begins with recognising anemia as a concern that must be addressed, not accepted.
These trainings mark an important step towards translating the revised strategy into effective implementation and measurable health outcomes.
From strategy to systems. From coverage to completion. From ignorance to mindfulness and ownership. From screening to resolution.
A renewed commitment towards an Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.”
