“Delighted to have chaired a pediatric hematology session at the 8th Omani Society of Hematology Congress this morning!
It was a privilege to engage with colleagues and experts across the region, sharing insights and advancing pediatric hematology clinical care.
As well as proud of our pediatric residents I had the pleasure of supervising, whose abstracts were accepted for poster presentations:
Dr. Sami Al Rawahi – Anakinra Monotherapy in Pediatric Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis: A Case Report
Dr. Shaima Al Suror – Real-World Outcomes of Emicizumab Prophylaxis in Pediatric and Adolescent Patients with Hemophilia A: A Retrospective Study at Royal Hospital, Oman (2019–2026) ; winning 2nd place in the poster presentation!
