Ganesh Mohan: Complexities of Thrombosis Care Across Diverse Patient Populations
Ganesh Mohan, Professor at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, shared on LinkedIn:
“World Thrombosis Day 2026 webinar: thank you to everyone who joined us.
We were delighted to welcome 118 participants to our World Thrombosis Day webinar.
The discussions with our speakers were lively and engaged, and we’re grateful to everyone who joined in.
Our faculty took us across three important areas of venous thromboembolism:
- Dr Jecko Thachil: Cancer Associated Thrombosis
- Dr Paul Mongale: ISTH/ASH guidelines on the management of pediatric venous thromboembolism
- Dr Neeraj Sidharthan: Challenges of managing thrombosis in pregnancy
Together, the sessions covered thrombosis across the lifespan and in some of our most vulnerable patients.
They were a reminder that recognizing and preventing blood clots is everyone’s responsibility, whatever the specialty.
Our sincere thanks to the speakers for their time and expertise, to the participants for their thoughtful questions.
Let’s keep the conversation going.
Know Thrombosis, save lives.”
