World Thrombosis Day 2026 Advancing Women’s Health Through Better Thrombosis Research and Care – World Thrombosis Day
World Thrombosis Day shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Women’s health deserves greater attention in thrombosis research, diagnosis and care.
This World Thrombosis Day, we’re highlighting an important call to action from Irish members of The Lancet Group Haematology Commission on Global Female Health and Haematology.
From pregnancy associated thrombosis to the risks associated with hormonal therapies, the Commission underscores the need to address longstanding gaps in how women’s blood conditions are recognized, researched and treated.
Improving women’s health requires more than awareness. It calls for continued research, stronger clinical guidance and more equitable access to care.
Read more about the Commission’s recommendations and the call for action”
