Nilesh Jethwa: Yasmin Adverse Event Reports Exceed 23,000 Over Two-Year Period
Nilesh Jethwa, Founder and CEO at InfoCaptor (Rudrasoft), shared a post onĀ X:
“The adverse event reports for Yasmin cover a total of 23,442 reports, with data spanning from July 2024 to June 2026.
The most frequently reported adverse events include pain (8,582 reports), injury (7,481 reports), pulmonary embolism (5,614 reports), and deep vein thrombosis (5,406 reports).
Among the reported outcomes, 219 cases were classified as fatal, while the majority of reports indicated recovery or ongoing recovery.
Serious reactions frequently included pain, injury, pulmonary embolism, and deep vein thrombosis.
The data shows a predominance of reports from females, with 23,230 female reports compared to only 44 from males.
The reporting trend appears to be stable over the observed months.
It is important to note that adverse event reports are spontaneous and voluntary, do not establish causation, may contain duplicates, and cannot be used to calculate true incidence or risk.”
