Alessandro Lucchesi: Three Minutes of RiseMPN 2025

Alessandro Lucchesi, Consultant Hematologist at Romagna Scientific Institute for the Study and Treatment of Cancer (I.R.S.T.) Ltd., shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Three minutes of RiseMPN 2025.

No slides, just the people who made it.

Last November in Rome we asked why disease trajectories diverge in myeloproliferative neoplasms.

On 6–7 November 2026 we return with a bolder question: can we engineer them?

RiseMPN is single-track by design.

One room, one conversation.

Short talks, discussions that run like a talk show, and a faculty that keeps coming back.

Our 2025 Best Abstract winners are on the 2026 programme as speakers: that is the kind of trajectory we like.

This year we move from mechanism to combination to trajectory: add-on strategies in myelofibrosis, upstream intervention in PV and ET, diagnostics that can prove disease modification, transplant timing, and what MPN can learn from CML, mastocytosis and HES.

Registration is free, with 14 CME credits. Abstracts close on 20 October, and the best poster wins full hospitality at RiseMPN 2027.

Courtyard by Marriott Rome Central Park.

Programme and registration in the first comment.

With my co-presidents Gerardo Musuraca and Antonino Musolino, Francesca Mazza and the team at Xenia.

One question for the MPN community: if you could pull one lever first, which would it be?

The clone, the niche, the vessel or the host?”
