Amihai Rottenstreich: Women’s Health and Multidisciplinary Care Lead ISTH 2026 Discussions
Amihai Rottenstreich, Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tel Aviv University, Head of MFM Outpatient Center at Wolfson Medical Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Hello from the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) Congress in Paris!
It is a privilege to participate in another outstanding ISTH meeting, bringing together colleagues and friends from around the world who share a passion for advancing thrombosis and hemostasis research and patient care.
I was honored to contribute as an active member of the ISTH Scientific and Standardization Committee (SSC) and to deliver a lecture on myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), discussing current evidence and evolving challenges in the care of these complex patients.
One of the highlights of this year’s congress has been the remarkable focus on women’s health, with excellent sessions covering pregnancy-associated thrombosis, antiphospholipid syndrome, inherited and acquired bleeding disorders, obstetric hematology, and many other topics.
It is encouraging to see women’s health receiving the attention it deserves within our international community.
Beyond the science, meetings like ISTH remind us that collaboration is the driving force behind innovation.
International partnerships, multidisciplinary teamwork, and mentorship are essential for translating research into better outcomes for our patients.
A sincere thank you to the organizers, speakers, and colleagues who made this meeting so inspiring.
Looking forward to continuing our collaborations and to the exciting work ahead.”
