Beth Sara: IBMS Specialist Portfolio Achievement and a New Role in Transfusion Practice
Beth Sara, Specialist Biomedical Scientist at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m pleased to share that, in August I passed my IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Haematology and Hospital Transfusion Science!
Balancing shift work with a huge analyser refresh has been a challenge at times so I’m super proud to have passed.
I’m also over the moon to be starting in a new role in just 2 weeks, starting as the Transfusion Practitioner for CDDFT.
It’s a huge step in my career and will present a completely new challenge taking on a more clinical role in transfusion, but I’m super excited to get going and see what’s in store!”
