David Smadja: Unveiling the Endothelium’s Role in Thrombosis at ISTH 2026
David Smadja, Professor of Hematology (PU-PH) at Paris Cité University, European Georges Pompidou Hospital, shared RFHT – Revue Francophone d’Hémostase et Thrombose‘s post on LinkedIn, adding:
“A look back at ISTH 2026 in Paris.
A few minutes to talk about a subject that has fascinated me for many years: the role of the endothelium in thrombosis.
Long considered a simple interface between the blood and the tissues, the endothelium is in fact a major player in vascular balance and its dysregulation.
Inflammation, coagulation activation, thrombosis: a better understanding of the dialogue between endothelium, blood and vessels opens up new perspectives for understanding, preventing and perhaps better treating thrombotic diseases in the future.
Thank you to the RFHT – French-Language Journal of Hemostasis and Thrombosis for this series of short videos that extend ISTH’s scientific exchanges beyond the congress.”
RFHT – Revue Francophone d’Hémostase et Thrombose shared a post on LinkedIn, adding:
