Dino Mehic: New Real-World Evidence on DOAC Safety After Childbirth

”Great presentation by Claire de Moreuil at ISTH 2026 on the safety of DOACs in the postpartum period.
Using data from 5.4 million deliveries in France, the study showed that DOACs were associated with a higher risk of postpartum abnormal uterine bleeding than LMWH, but a lower risk than VKAs.”
