Doaa EL Demerdash: Connecting the Global ITP Community at ISTH 2026
Doaa EL Demerdash, Professor at Cairo University and Hematology Consultant at Cleopatra Hospitals Group, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”It was a great pleasure to attend ISTH 2026
And it was a great opportunity to catch recent advances in T&H my main focus and meet colleagues from all over the world shared thoughts and different experiences and also a great chance to meet my role models in hematology prof kuter from USA, Waleed Ghanima MD, Ph.D. From Norway and prof Hanny Al-Samkari from USA
And keep reminding to share in our international survey about managing ITP in lower and middle countries as up till now representive physicians from 66 countries are sharing and we still missing contributions from some low and middle income countries.
This is an international survey for ITP Immune thrombocytopenia
And I hope physicians managing ITP (adult and pediatrics) to share their valuable experience in this international ITP survey (as participation from African countries unfortunately are missing).
It will take few minutes to be completed
Kindly need your kind and valuable support.”
