Hassan Raza: Building Sustainable Support for People with Bleeding Disorders in Pakistan
Hassan Raza, Vice President at Hemophilia Foundation, Pakistan, shared on LinkedIn:
”I was pleased to have been part of the NMO Capacity Development Workshop conducted by the World Federation of Hemophilia in partnership with Hemophilia Foundation Pakistan.
The exercise helped us understand the work that needs to be done at our end while building on all that we have achieved since late 90’s.
We are currently helping in treatment of around 7,000 PwBDs with the assistance of WFH.
It is an important step toward building sustainable governance structures and improving support systems for individuals living with bleeding disorders.
The contribution to community initiatives and NPOs is possibly the most rewarding work one goes on to do.”
