“Proud to have partnered with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) College of Health Sciences and the Ghana National Blood Service on an Apheresis Academy workshop in Kumasi, Ghana – ‘Advancing Sickle Cell Care Through Innovation.’
Clinicians, blood bank leaders and apheresis specialists came together to explore how automated Red Blood Cell Exchange (aRBCx) can transform outcomes for patients living with Sickle Cell Disease – from stroke prevention to reducing transfusion-related complications like alloimmunization and iron overload.
