Lexy Halloran: Addressing Diagnostic Inequities in Women with Chronic Conditions
Lexy Halloran, Founder and Host of The Chronic Chronicles Podcast, Client Liaison at Epividian, Inc, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I spoke at a Hemophilia B conference this week and talked about something I care deeply about, how often women are overlooked in diagnosis and care.
Whether it’s bleeding disorders, endometriosis, or chronic pain, the pattern is the same: delayed diagnosis, minimized symptoms, and years of unnecessary suffering.
I will never stop speaking up about this.
Because it’s not normal to be in that much pain.
It’s not normal to be dismissed.
And it shouldn’t take years to be taken seriously.”
