Louise St. Germain Bannon: ETHA Launches European Antithrombotic Stewardship Survey Supported by ISTH
Louise St. Germain Bannon, Interim Executive Director at International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), shared on LinkedIn:
”I’m proud to share a new initiative from the European Thrombosis and Haemostasis Alliance (ETHA), supported by the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), focused on advancing conversations around antithrombotic stewardship across Europe.
As healthcare systems continue working to improve patient safety, quality of care and the appropriate use of antithrombotic therapies, it is clear there is growing interest in better understanding how stewardship is currently being approached across EU member states.
Before we can meaningfully advocate for future policy, education and systems-level improvements, we first need to listen, learn and better understand the current landscape, including successes, challenges, gaps and opportunities.
That is why ETHA has launched a new European survey on antithrombotic stewardship.
If you work in thrombosis, haemostasis, anticoagulation management or related areas, I encourage you to participate and share your perspective.
Thank you to all colleagues across Europe helping strengthen safer, evidence-informed care for patients.”
