Louise St. Germain Bannon: ISTH is Looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development
Louise St. Germain Bannon, Interim Executive Director at International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), shared on LinkedIn:
“We’re hiring at International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH)!
We’re looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development to join our global team and help shape the next chapter of how the ISTH builds partnerships and diversifies support for its mission.
This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a strategic partnerships and development function from the ground up, creating sustainable, mission-aligned relationships across industry, foundations, global health organizations and other partners.
The role will span:
- Strategic partnerships and revenue diversification
- Corporate and industry relationships
- Institutional giving and grants
- Research and education support
- Congress and sponsorship opportunities
- World Thrombosis Day and Women’s Health initiatives
- Building the systems, pipeline and team to support long-term growth
We’re looking for someone who is strategic but also deeply relationship-oriented.
Someone who understands that the strongest partnerships are built on trust, shared purpose, thoughtful stewardship and a genuine commitment to impact, not simply transactions.
This is also an opportunity for someone who enjoys building.
The person in this role will have the chance to shape the strategy, develop the infrastructure, build a team and create a sustainable foundation for the future.
If you’re an experienced partnership or development leader with a global perspective, strong relationship-building skills and a passion for mission-driven work, I encourage you to take a look.
And as always, if someone comes to mind who would be a great fit, please share this with them!
We’d love to meet them.”
