Marika Nöjd: Donating Blood is An Easy Way to Do Good!
Marika Nöjd, Communications Director at Tallink Silja Oy, shared on LinkedIn:
”A responsible Christmas gift idea for companies!
Allow your employees to donate blood during working hours! It only takes about an hour, and once a year is enough!
I got to visit the Finnish Red Cross Blood Service, where donated blood is handled with love.
The work done here is truly meaningful, unique, and important. I am impressed!
Too few people donate blood! Donating blood is an easy way to do good!
I myself have donated blood 70 times.
Are you allowed to donate blood during working hours? At Tallink Silja Oy, we are!
PS. It’s worth asking the communications department to spread the word and tell our partners that this year’s Christmas cards and gift money were “used” for blood donation during working hours.
Read more about the Blood Service’s workplace certificate.”
