Mavis Agnes Kisakye: Raising Awareness of Haemophilia and SCD in Ugandan Schools
Mavis Agnes Kisakye, Health Officer, EVD Response at Uganda Red Cross Society, shared on LinkedIn:
”We are proud to share that the Haemophilia Foundation of Uganda (HFU), in collaboration with Raising Hope and in partnership with the Nakasero Blood Bank, is actively reaching out to schools to raise awareness about Haemophilia and Sickle Cell Disease (SCD).
Our mission is to educate the younger generation and encourage the wider community to prioritize early testing and blood donation to save lives.
A heartfelt thank you to Novo Nordisk Haemophilia and Haemoglobinopathies Foundation (NNHF), Novo Nordisk Foundation for their continued support of these vital initiatives.
Together, we are building a more informed and resilient community.”
