Merel Timmer: Hemophilia Twinning Partnership Strengthens Care and Quality of Life in Indonesia
Merel Timmer, Physiotherapist at UMC Utrecht, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Our first official twinning visit with RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo and RSUD Banyumas is a wrap!
It was great to see everything dr. Agus Fitrianto, dr. Fresti Octanindi and dr. Nia Zanatunnisa and their teams have achieved since our initiation visit last year.
Together, we outlined exciting plans for the coming year, focusing on regular assessment of people with haemophilia, including joint health, limitations in activities and quality of life.
Although we had a packed schedule filled with inspiring discussions, lectures, and home visits, we still made time to enjoy a memorable durian party together.
Some experiences simply cannot be missed!
Terima Kasih World Federation of Hemophilia, Fédération mondiale de l’hémophilie for supporting our twinning partnership.”
