Aging population: An increasing number of patients are developing conditions like atrial fibrillation that necessitate anticoagulation.
Earlier detection: Improved screening tools and wearable technology are helping to identify at-risk patients sooner.
Stronger guidelines: Current clinical recommendations advocate for broader and earlier use in suitable patients.
Greater physician confidence: Long-term data and real-world experience have made prescribing these medications more routine.
