”Honored to be a speaker at WHX Labs Dubai, where I presented on the clinical utility of the chromogenic Factor VIII assay in hemophilia A.
My talk focused on the well-recognized discrepancies between one-stage clot-based and chromogenic assays—particularly in mild and moderate hemophilia—and the practical implications for accurate diagnosis, monitoring, and therapeutic decision-making in the era of extended half-life products and novel agents.
It was a privilege to engage with colleagues and discuss how optimized assay selection and interpretation can directly impact patient care and laboratory best practices.
