Noemy E. Diaz-Burgos, LSAC Plus Scholar, Assistant Teaching Professor at FIU, shared a post on LinkedIn:

Walking into the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center with the iconic Petronas Towers as our backdrop was something else entirely.
Before the official welcome, I had the privilege of attending the invite-only WFH General Assembly, witnessing NMO representatives vote on membership, leadership, and initiatives shaping the future of our community.

Then came the opening welcome ceremony featuring traditional Malaysian lion dancing, folk music, henna, and a food spread featuring nasi lemak and roti, which I am still thinking about.
I truly loved experiencing the Malaysian culture and greatly appreciate their kind welcome.
More to come…”
