Sam Mbunya: Celebrating Cyrus Njuguna Githinji’s New Leadership Role in Haemophilia Care
Sam Mbunya, Principal Consultant at Dr Mbunya Health and Leadership Consultancy, shared on LinkedIn:
”Congratulations, Cyrus!
A heartfelt congratulations to Njuguna Githinji, on joining the Novo Nordisk Haemophilia and Haemoglobinopathies Foundation as a Programme Manager – East Africa.
I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Cyrus since 2015 through the AMPATH Kenya/Innovative Hematology, Inc. partnership, and over the years as my successor as Program Administrator, I have witnessed his commitment to strengthening healthcare systems, building meaningful partnerships, and improving outcomes for patients and communities.
This appointment is both well deserved and exciting for the region. As the Foundation continues its important work in haemophilia, sickle cell disease and other haemoglobinopathies, I am confident that Cyrus will bring valuable experience, leadership and a strong understanding of the East African healthcare landscape to this role.
Cyrus, congratulations on this important milestone. I look forward to continuing to work alongside you and seeing the impact of your leadership across East Africa and beyond.
Wishing you every success in this new chapter. Hongera sana, my brother.”
