Suvro Sankha Datta: New Frontiers in Platelet Transfusion and Preservation
Suvro Sankha Datta, Senior Consultant and Head Transfusion Medicine at Tata Medical Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Research around platelet products and substitutes is rapidly evolving, which is likely to be a great area of interest in the coming years.
Platelets stored in additive solutions, chilled or frozen, carry great promise to improve platelet access.
I am uploading yesterday’s NBEMS presentation for the postgraduate students and people interested in this field.
The presentation also contains data from recent clinical trials.”
